How to Get to Sadiri?

Sadiri Lodge is located in the territory of the Indigenous Community San José de Uchupiamonas in the northwestern area of the department of La Paz  and within the Madidi Integrated Management Natural Area and Madidi National Park. To get to Sadiri it is necessary to get to Rurrenabaque first, which is 410 kilometers from the city of La Paz. From Rurrenabaque we cross the river Beni to San Buenaventura and take the road with air-conditioned 4×4 vehicles for a three hour trip to Tumupasa, from where we take the road to San José de Uchupiamonas and travel uphill for three miles to the top of the Serrania Sadiri, where Sadiri Lodge is located.


Transportation can be conducted by land or by flights through Amaszonas Airlines, which has 5 daily flights from La Paz to Rurrenabaque-La Paz and Trinidad- Rurrenabaque 6 times a week; or by the airline Transporte Aero Militar TAM which flies La Paz-Rurrenabaque-La Paz 3 times a week.


The infrastructure, which was conceived, designed, created, and built in a traditional style offers comfortable accommodation in a lodge with 6 cabins with 12 beds, private bathrooms, hot water…



The Sadiri Lodge area, because of its the location at an altitude of 900 m is a foothill forest in the middle of the Amazon with a pleasant climate, abundant rain, a diversity of birds with over 400 species…



What to bring: shirts and / or long-sleeved shirts and long pants, thin jacket, comfortable walking shoes, rubber boots if preferred, repellent, hat, binoculars, camera…
